The personal side of April:
- Mother of 3 amazing children, Breeanna, Wyatt and Gracie and
have a son in--law Josh
- Am now part of a blended family with my wonderful spouse and
best friend Mike, and his 2 children Tyson and Reeghan
- Proud mama to our family dog Mylo and G-ma to my grandpuppies
Ogin, Zeke and Hank
- I have the best parents ever, 2 older sisters, and older
brother, as well as a younger brother and sister, and many neices
and nephews
- Born and raised in St.Thomas and love the small town community
feeling
- Spent every summer camping with our family, fishing with my dad,
canoeing, cooking on the campfire, jumping into the lake off the
dock, and just enjoying family time
- Still camp every year (43 yrs and haven't missed a single year
yet) and love every minute!
- I love to cook and bake for my family and friends
- I enjoy going on wine tours at different wineries
- My outlook on life is to enjoy and live each day to the fullest
- My new goal: to always try something new. I use the phrase..
what would I normally do or choose? Then I try something other than
my usual
- I enjoy lounging by the pool or fireplace with a good book,
kayaking, bicycling, riding our seadoos, watching football, and
spending time with my family
- I love helping others, and making people smile
- I love corny jokes and cheesy puns. My spouse's and my kid's
crazy antics make me laugh every day
- I enjoy most types of music and I singnmy heart out like I'm a
karaoke star while in the car
The professional side of April:
- Certified Wedding Officiant
- I worked as a manager in retail, then in a factory until it
closed
- Went back to college and graduated with honours
- I now work in long-term care at a great home and I enjoy helping
my residents with their daily activities
- I love making a difference in their lives and i make it my
mission to make them smile every day
- I believe in being organized and orderly but i also enjoy being
relaxed and going with the flow
- I believe every experience is a learning opportunity
The passionate side of April:
- I am passionate about my family, it's the most important part of
my life
- The traditions and love passed down through a family is a legacy
that I treasure and continue to carry on with my children
- I love to learn new things and to challenge myself
- When I help others and make their day easier or happier, I
consider that a successful day
- Success isn't always about the quantity of things we accomplish,
it's about the quality with which we do them
